History: Shupe et al. (1967):"A study of an hereditary congenital deformity in Hereford cattle was conducted. This deformity was characterized by arthrogryposis, kyphosis, torti-collis, scoliosis, and cleft palate. Prolonged gestation also was associated with the deformity. The condition appeared to be a simple autosomal recessive characteristic of lethal nature."
